This restaurant remains a safe value, close to Echirolles or claix bridge, you can eat good well-preserved products. Good cellar too. summer, very nice patio. nice welcome. I've been attending this facility for many years.
It is in an old stable (from which the name) that we eat (from below the road) - which explains that the entrance is discreet. there is also a terrace in the summer. the restaurant appears in a few guides (gault and Millau...). The husband is in the kitchen and the woman at the service. a menu that changes regularly with fresh products. I ate the home foie gras with well-prepared jars, very well cooked fish (no regret, there was no dauphinois gratin accompanied by dishes). I think it should be a standard for a stable;-) ... only a vegetable-componed potato accompanied all the dishes (fish meat). finally a dessert pie lemon meringue (not homemade but good).
Very good business lunch in an authentic rustic setting, very welcoming service and very good quality cuisine, fine, original and copied.
