After traveling to Japan a few times, lunch in Kambei is one of those, if not the best and most authentic Japanese dishes I have eaten. The edamame was fresh with mild seasoning, the salad perfectly dressed, the rice perfectly cooked and the sauce on the Teriyaki chicken transported me back to Kyoto unreal! View all feedback.

only two options on menu, a multi course Japanese banquet, either seafood $75 or vegetarian $60. we ordered the seafood. the presentation was great and I have to try food that I would normally not order, including anal, which was delicious as well as sushimi, raw fish that I did not enjoy despite it of great quality. we were certainly full and happy to try once, prefer to choose our own favorite in future.
