Very good food. The Parmageddon was excellent and the Common burger superb. Amazing service. We had a table at the restaurant but next time we’ll try the terrace. We’ll come back! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about The Common:
This place slaps!!! We came on a Friday night at peak hour, the place was packed and it’s easy to see why. Staff were all so friendly and unfazed by the (good chaos, live music, old faithful beers on tap, delicious wine list, happy punters everywhere. We were warned about a lengthy wait on food and it came out in half the time (To any reviews sulking about food wait times, either plan your outing better or just accept... Winter Warmth Fed up with being cooped up on a cold wet Thursday we ventured out to Gnarabup. As locals we knew the Common would have the fire cranking and with their happy hour going from 5 6 pm we thought an early dinner was in order. Tony Co did not disappoint, attentive staff ensured we were met, sat and serviced in a good timely manner. There was a good selection of options on the menu complimented with some delicious South American options for specials. Also available happy hour offered a good range of drink options to choose from, which we made full use of. Both my wife and I tried different specials (burritos and quesadillas) both of which were tasty authentic. With both my son and wife having a sweet tooth they had desserts which they intended to share 50/50 (sticky toffee pudding and Churros). Our son left his share of the Churros as they were presented cut in half (which is apparently a deal breaker for the pre pubescent), the attentive manager [Tony] was quick to spot the issue offer a fresh batch which my son accepted/devoured then processed to eat his original offerings . All in all we couldn’t fault our experience my only complaint being; having to leave relatively early as it was a school night……..
Eat here twice it is in the Margaret Beach Resort complex great atmosphere and very good food we even had live entertainment one night
We were staying for a few nights at this resort and wanted a takeaway pizza . The place was very busy and there was a long queue for service not helped by service being extremely slow it took 35 minutes to get through a line of 12. We made the point to ask one of the waitress staff if we could get a takeaway and we’re assured we could and that we should wait for service at the bar. At the end of the 35 wait to be served, the bar staff refused to serve us as they were too busy to do takeaway orders. This seemed a nonsense as they would happily take a restaurant order even though there was no space to eat. A takeaway pizza order is no harder to do just means putting it in a box instead of on a plate! Main issue is that they obviously had not informed their staff that they were suspending takeaway orders and made no effort to inform customers waiting in line. We went into town and got avery good authentic pizza from Pizzica
During my stay at the resort, I decided to order takeout from the restaurant. The waitress and chef were very accommodating to my celiac needs. They even ensured that when they were busy, they used a separate fryer for the chips. Make sure to double check before placing your order. The pizza was delicious!
We recently had dinner at this restaurant and were impressed by the staff's knowledge of gluten-free menu items and their ability to accommodate those with celiac disease. There were plenty of delicious options available, including a kids menu. We highly recommend this restaurant!
