Ebisu is nicely decorated authentic Japanese restaurant, tucked in Elwood suburb. Beautiful plates and elegant chopsticks. They are open for lunch seats for groups, single or couple. The sashimi dish was really excellent, tuna and salmon, rice was very delicious, and nicely composed plate with green and seaweed salad. I had lunch on Saturday. I tried their lunch bento with raw fish , salad and green tea pudding. The whole box is a piece of art. I also enjoy the complimentary green tea.
I had lunch here on Thursday just on a whim and honestly this was some of the best Japanese food I've had outside of Japan. I had a salmon and tuna sashimi lunch special which came with soup, a salad, rice and green tea panacotta. All the flavours were perfectly balanced and delicate, just how Japanese cuisine should be made! Definitely recommend coming here.
The sushi at this restaurant is fantastic. The owners and staff are all very friendly and the food is of great quality. It is a wonderful addition to the Elwood community and my whole family enjoys dining here.
I love this place. Best Miso I have had, and everything else I have tried here has been amazing. There are many Japanese options around, but I keep going back here
