Wow! Blown away. The Taiwanese food here is amazing to the point of mouthwatering good. Hidden Gem alert for sure.Had takeout and tried the Signature Pork Belly Bao which was the best bao I have ever had. The Bao itself was larger than average and steamed perfectly, fluffy and soft. What Rosa Shih doesn't like about Shanghai Dumpling King:
I've been here a couple of times and the food is quite inconsistent. Beef noodle soup is ok, fried tofu is ok, but the popcorn chicken is the worst I've ever had. The batter was way too thick for the chicken and i had to spit out the excess flour. The dish also came with the side flour batter bits that were flavorless.I also had the papaya milk and the papaya was definitely not ripe as the drink just tasted like milk... View all feedback.
