Description

Nestled in the charming town of Gingin, the Gingin Hotel presents a mix of experiences for diners and travelers alike. While some patrons rave about the warm atmosphere and friendly staff, others report frustratingly long wait times for meals and inconsistent food quality. Complaints about noise levels due to unsupervised children and high takeaway prices have also surfaced. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel offers nostalgic charm, with clean accommodations and a welcoming vibe that some guests found perfect for a casual visit or special occasions. For those seeking a low-key pub experience, it’s worth a stop—but perhaps with tempered expectations.

The menu is quite limited, and the staff isn't very welcoming. This used to be a wonderful restaurant, but now it feels bare and uninviting.

It was an extremely hot day, so we decided to stop in for a cold drink. It was early afternoon, and while the place wasn’t crowded, we received a warm welcome, and the other patrons were quite friendly. We didn’t order any food, but the meals being served looked like great value. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had a steak sandwich with chips and would rate it a 6 out of 10. The bread was quite plain, and the chips weren't that great either.

We held our wake at the Gingin Hotel yesterday, and I can't thank the team enough for their incredible support. They went above and beyond to make a difficult day feel like a beautiful farewell. From the service to the food, everything was perfect from start to finish. Thank you once again for being so accommodating and helpful!

I had lunch here, and the atmosphere was very friendly with great food. I could have easily stayed longer if I weren't driving.
