I thought the meal might improve with the salsas, but I didn't enjoy either the green or red options provided. The price for the carne asada plate was reasonable, and I had heard good reviews, which made me excited to try it. However, I ended up leaving a lot uneaten in the styrofoam container. There were only a few small pieces of carne asada and some onions and bell peppers, but the larger section of the container... View all feedback.
They give them a fair amount of food for the price, the chile verde is quite good and lives reviews from others say that there is the best chile verde they have ever had. only the problem we met was that they sometimes close early when it's slow this day. other wise 10/10 and would recommend to anyone walking through gilroy.
I usually take my leftovers home, but I completely forgot to do so after my visit to this restaurant. Overall, it wasn't a great experience, and I found the restrooms to be quite unclean.
Loyal costumer since 1990, family owned and operated. Great selections of authentic Mexican food. Skip the fancy wannabe restaurants.

It felt a bit skimpy, even though I understand that meat can be expensive these days. The carne asada itself wasn’t the dark color I expected, which may have been due to the orange seasoning used—it was just okay. I’m still hungry after spending $22 and may have to dash somewhere else for a snack.
