We have just eaten at Sale e Pepe and cannot recommend it enough beautiful building and fantastic food! The menu was in Italian and the staff spoke little English but they seemed to appreciate my stagnated Italian (I think! . The husband order the Tomahawk steak which came out sizzling on a hot plate. My daughter, who was working in Caltanissetta, took us here when we visited from the UK. She had had a very good meal here on a previous visit and we had expectations of the same. There were a number of items on the menu that were unavailable and three of us settled on a beef casserole dish served in a creamy stroganoff style sauce.
