Essen schmeckt gut, Getränke werden ordentlich präsentiert. Nelly Schmidt hat es geschafft, ein gemütliches Kneipenambiente zu schaffen, eben durch ihren ganz persönlichen Stil im Umgang mit den Gästen. Dies fehlt mir bei dem heutigen Pächter ein wenig. Aber alles in allem ok. View all feedback.
Klasse Haxen (auf Vorbestellung) Knochen (Spareribs) sind eine Spezialität auch zum Mitnehmen. Das Rumpsteak ist spitze, gute Fleischqualtit und sehr gut gebraten. Der Wirt ist freundlich und geht auch gerne auf Sonderwünsche ein. Wir gehen sehr oft zur Mutter Schmidt weil es einfach schmeckt.
Gute hessische Hausmannskost, frisch zubereitet, freundliches Personal, nette Gäste in familiärer Atmosphäre - eines unserer Wohlfühllokale. Unbedingt reservieren, sonst wird es eng!
Kleines aber auch feines Restaurant. Es gibt bürgerliche Küche. Wir gehen seit Jahren gerne hierher. Die rustikale Einrichtung passt genau zum Konzept. Eine Spezialität sind die Knochen (Spare-Rips) dazu gibt es selbstgemachten Knoblauchdip (sehr lecker). Aber auch die andere Gerichte egal ob bürgerlich oder typisch Hessisch sind zu empfehlen. Auch bei den einheimischen sehr beliebt , daher unbedingt reservieren.

A young, committed and consistently professional and pleasant team with good food and pleasant and personal service. The food was always super quality and visually and tastefully absolutely top. The prices are absolutely moderate. Accept that there are still restaurants with good bourgeois cuisine and regional products at reasonable prices. Hopefully, the high standard, the quality and prices remain in the new location. A timely review of the new site is at least planned.
