**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** At a bustling eatery known for its vibrant ambiance and varied menu, diners frequently encounter inconsistent service and culinary hits and misses. While some dishes, such as the buffalo chicken and gnocchi, receive praise for their flavor and generous portions, others, including the soggy waffles and underwhelming bacon jam fried rice, leave patrons unsatisfied. Service lapses, including long waits and neglected tables, are common complaints, though some staff members exhibit commendable attentiveness. While the cocktails and bustling atmosphere impress, the overall experience remains unpredictable, leading many to question a return visit.
We love their chicken. We share the 4 piece 1/2 half chicken and it is plenty of food. We even bring some home. Love their truffle mac n cheese
The staff was very kind and the service was fast. The food was served hot and you weren’t waiting very long. The bartenders made really good drinks thank you. Very well-maintained and cleaned establishments from the time you walk in to going to the restrooms and even the outside areas in front of the establishment were well-maintained. This (3.2/24) was our first time there. Star rating led us to be excited about the food and trying a new place. Hostess was very friendly. We ordered 2 fired chicken dinners (1 mashed potatoes missing) and 1 fried chicken salad. Wait for take-out was long. When we arrived home and opened the food, we were very disappointed. The fried chicken was almost burnt, dry and over cooked for all three meals. My salad was on the bottom and so the hot chicken boxes on the top caused the salad to wilt. Biscuits were hard, The 3 desserts, bread pudding and key lime pie were delicious. Perhaps if we had dined in, I experience would have been better.J. ParkerParking: Downtown was busy on Saturday and so parking was somewhat difficult.
Neat little restaurant on the Georgetown Square. Took my daughter here for a Sunday brunch. I had been wanting to try it for awhile and it did not disappoint. Ihad the chicken and biscuit which is covered in honey and it was great. My daughter had a Buffalo chicken gnocchi which she was also very fond of. The prices were good and the service was attentive. We will certainly be back in the future.
We've been here several times. The food has always been good in the past. Maybe something has changed. The pasta dish in particular, was disappointing. The shrimp smelled and tasted and a bit off. The pasta was crunchy and the sauce was very runny. The brussels sprouts are always a favorite, but were not cooked like they usually are. Maybe they were having a bad day in the kitchen. Normally, we love to go here, but we may not be back for a while.
