Bit of a disappointment. A very nice concept, but we expected more. Aperitif and cocktail served very simply (plain glass with ice cubes). Food is tasty but nothing really tasted wow. I go to Gent to eat there while I live in Brussels. Really delicious, subtle, amazing and perfectly prepared... plus the place is simple and very nice! And I find it cheap compared to the research and tastes that are in the plate: 40€ per person in the evening, with entrance, dish, dessert, coffee and 2 glasses of wines... it's perfect!

We spent a wonderful Friday evening at Alberte. Delicious 5 courses with wine pairing. The main course with duck was especially nice! Very friendly staff! Vivid atmosphere with open kitchen. Would highly recommend!
My family and I dined here on the 18th December. The Gurnard starter was some of the best fish I have ever eaten, with the cooking and the charred taste coming together so well. The pheasant main course was delicious too, with the meat so tender it could be cut with a fork. The orange sorbet with the creme brulee for dessert was very unusual and worked very well to balance the sweetness with freshness and citrus flavours at the same time. Lovely experience.
