A recent trip to this Chinese restaurant left diners with mixed feelings. The general consensus was that the food was average, with some dishes being better than others. The portions were generous and reasonably priced, making it a good option for larger groups. Despite some misses, standout dishes like the Almond Guy Ding and Szechwan Shredded Chicken were praised for being delicious and well-prepared. The service was noted as friendly and efficient, with some customers returning regularly due to the overall positive experience. While it may not be a top-tier Chinese dining option, it certainly offers a decent meal for a fair price.

Was Anonym at Highlight Restaurant a mag?
I went there with my wife for dinner. The prices and food was great. It is a great place for Chinese food since the new owners took over. I would recommend it to be the best in town. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Highlight Restaurant:
Being a vegetarian traveler in Newfoundland is difficult. Chinese is one method to eat out and actually get something besides a large fries and a hot apple pie. Highlight Restaurant was clean and atmospheric with a courteous staff. The food was served very quickly and was very hot and in large portions. Not a particularly innovative menu and it does not need to be for Northern Newfoundland. View all feedback.
We enjoyed a great meal here. Food super fresh and nicely prepared too. Vegetables were a highlight of each dish. Great food and at a great value.
I live about minutes away, every time im in the area we go here. We're Regulars. Amazing service, food and people. They even remembered our faces and orders. Amazing!! Fully recommend the hunana beef chow main. Ita veggies on a bed of noodles tho...sometimes the noodles dont get fully cooked and will have a crunch. Though they are always incredible
Quick, friendly service . Food was generous portions and we enjoyed our meal. The coffee was not great, but that's not why you go to a Chinese restaurant ,right!
It was my first time eating there and the food was great! It was not crowded at all. We ordered, and within 5-10 minutes, the food was on our table. Great service. I would definitely visit again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The egg roll was the worst I have ever eaten; I prefer the frozen ones from the grocery store. The vegetables were not fresh, mushy, and overcooked. The rice was steamed and mushy, with soy sauce but no chicken or vegetables, and definitely not fried. The portions were very small. I will never go back. This visit was today, November 15, 2033.
