This restaurant is truly amazing—unpretentious yet brimming with attention to detail, flavor, and warmth. The red and green chili and chorizo were the most vibrant I've ever experienced. I enjoyed them in a breakfast burrito, and it was simply delicious. It's evident that the owners really care about the quality of their food and the satisfaction of their customers.
Five stars don't even begin to express how wonderful this gem in the southwest is. We stopped by while traveling from the east coast to the Grand Canyon, and the experience was nothing short of perfect. The food was served hot and was incredibly delicious, while the service was quick and exceptional. We ordered three breakfast burritos for just the two of us, and we could hardly finish them all. We'll definitely make it a priority to visit Maria's Restaurant every time we're in the west. I highly recommend it—10 out of 10—and I can’t wait to return!
We make it a point to dine at Maria's whenever we travel from Illinois to Arizona. It’s our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant! The green chili and beans keep us coming back, but we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried here. Maria is incredibly kind, and the staff is very friendly too. Plus, we love the local vibe of the place.
We absolutely adore this cozy, family-run restaurant! The food is outstanding, and Maria is warm and inviting. Every dish we've tried has been exceptional, especially the breakfast burritos. If you're in Gallup, make sure to visit—this is an experience you won’t want to miss. Maria prepares the red and green chile fresh every morning before opening, and the care she puts into it is evident in every bite. I’d give it a million stars if I could!
Great spot—simple yet filled with care, flavor, and warmth. The red and green chili with chorizo were the most flavorful I've had anywhere. I enjoyed them in a breakfast burrito, and it was delicious. It's clear the owners are truly passionate about what they do and attentive to every detail.
