Ana's - Fowler
Ana's
Description
Set on Fowler, this clean, cozy Mexican spot is praised for authentic, flavorful dishes — standout chilaquiles, a zesty red sauce and an asada burrito paired with Jarritos — and warm, attentive ownership. It's a family- and brunch-friendly neighborhood favorite that draws regulars from far away. Service and quality can be inconsistent: guests report late deliveries, uneven meat preparation, watery avocado and bland salsa, and occasional lapses in greeting large orders. With small improvements to consistency and service, it could be exceptional.

This brunch spot is fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, earning a perfect five-star rating. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a leisurely brunch. Highly recommend!
What's going on with Fowler and the Mexican restaurants around here? This place seemed promising, but my asada fries came with half the meat that looked and tasted like it was reheated, old, or over-fried—not the best quality. The avocado was watery and didn't taste fresh. The salsa was bland and lacking in seasoning and spice. I hope they can improve, Ana!
The food was incredibly delicious! My breakfast, the chilaquiles, was outstanding! This is truly authentic Mexican cuisine! The owner, Ana, provided exceptional service.
The only issue I experienced was that my order was late. I placed it at 9:30 and didn't receive it until 11:15. The driver mentioned that he had received the order late, so I'm not sure where the breakdown occurred with Grub Hub.
