Randy and Charline, fueled by their love for good food, decided to open their first restaurant in Poteau, Oklahoma in 1990. The day they opened, on Mother's Day, was a huge success, despite the high demand being referred to by them as the "Mother's Day Massacre." Their Cajun recipes were a hit, leading them to move their restaurant to Fort Smith, Arkansas in 1992. Located across from the Holiday Inn on Rogers Ave, their new location quickly became a favorite among locals and travelers alike.
