Carlos Pepe’s was founded in January 1979 by Dave Alderman, who has been the sole proprietor since that time. Dave's goal was to create an authentic Mexican restaurant catering to the 'Gringo' taste. We only use the finest and freshest ingredients in our dishes. For example, our nachos and enchiladas are made with King Crab meat, never with a lesser quality product like snow crab. Our salsa is prepared with fresh tomatoes, even during times of high prices, we refuse to substitute canned tomatoes. Our Margaritas are made with fresh squeezed limes and lemons, a time-consuming process that is well worth it when you taste it.
