Feedback
Experience at the restaurant varied among reviewers. Some found the food and service disappointing, with undercooked salmon and unappetizing dishes, while others were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and excellent service. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, ranging from appetizer samplers to unique chef's specials like pimento/bacon/tomato grilled cheese sandwich. The atmosphere is described as cozy, with friendly staff and a warm welcome. Prices were considered a little high by some but worth it for the quality of the food and service. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a unique dining experience with a Southern culinary touch that left many patrons impressed and wanting to return.
We went during lunch. I would probably prefer to go back during dinner. They offer more during dinner. Not really a quick stop in and eat place. Laid back atmosphere. It seemed better for close interaction than a group setting. I would call it small town fine dining. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
My sister's were raving about it and it hit every mark!! A must experience!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I debated between two or three stars on this one. I was expecting too much maybe. We had reservations for 6 on a Friday night. Not busy at all when we arrived and the service was really good most of the time. We had a hard time getting the check after our dishes were cleared. The food was meh and my salmon was undercooked. I could only eat half of it, the other half was raw and cold in the middle. The mashed potatoes were gluey and flavorless and green beans greasy. Just really really disappointing.
Outstanding food, excellent customer service and not expensive at all! This place has a wonderful atmosphere in which to have either an informal lunch with friends or a formal dinner with your special love. We were here with friends and we just loved it.I ordered the patty melt with a potato soup bisque. My wife had the turkey club. Even the unsweet tea was good. Every one of uscompletely enjoyed the experience. Great place and I highly recommend it!
My family and I stopped in today to try this restraunt. We ordered the grits fritters as an appetizer and they were delicious! My wife ordered the BLFGT bacon, lettuce, fried green tomatoe sandwich and my daughter and I shared the Rocking Chair Grass Fedhamburger. They were both so good. The portions were huge, the decor was great, and the staff was polite and fast. We willabsolutely be back to try more foods.
