Hey listen, I don’t care how the other people say about this place. Here is my favorite Chinese restaurant to go in Flushing. They have variety choice of dishes from South(Hunan&Sichuan) to North (Dongbei). And most importantly you can tell the chef is a master of cooking various style of food, with no compromise (if you looking for fake Chinese food go somewhere else).(Sorry forgot to take picture, will update next time I go)Recommend dishes:1.干锅肥肠 Gan Guo Feichang (Pork intestine in pot)2.地三鲜 Di San Xian (stir-fried potatoes, eggplants, and sweet peppers. )3.烧辣椒 Shao La Jiao (Burnt green pepper)If you haven’t try yet, I feel sad for you..
I wanted to try the house specialty spicy fish, a famous dish at this restaurant. This place, along with five others on the same block, serves similar cuisine from a specific Chinese region. I thought it would be worth trying since I like supporting smaller, lesser-known spots over more popular competitors on the same street. Looking through Yelp, I saw the dish was priced at $27.99, but when I ordered, they told me it was $32.99. The dish was just okay—mostly tofu and vermicelli with a small amount of fish. The taste was decent, and the service was quick, as they said it would be ready in 10 minutes.
I ordered delivery from this restaurant and was disappointed to find an excessive amount of white rice in my meal. When I contacted them about it, they refused to acknowledge the issue and responded with a very rude attitude. Despite my concerns, they insisted that it was impossible for that to happen. This experience was especially frustrating because it was related to the Lunch Special rice.
It seems they have recently brought in new chefs, and the dishes they are now serving are lacking in flavor.
