This lobby bar at the Westin Excelsior has a patio along the river. A really relaxing spot. So relaxing, we were having drinks and decided to stay for dinner. My partner had champagne/parmesan risotto and I had one of the best pasta dishes ever! Asparagus ravioli with a sage/walnut butter sauce. I practically inhaled it so, sorry there are no photos. The food at ORVM was great, although we were both in the mood for pizza, after a couple of days in Italy without pizza, these were fine dining pizzas. What really set the place apart though was the service, the staff were not only polite, they were charming, and made us feel extremely welcome all restaurants should do this of course, but this place really took it to the next level. Eating there was a wonderful positive experience for that. The location is also lovely, by the river and with a very pleasant view.

Friendly service. Great drinks, though expensive. Great complimentary snacks! Nuts, pizza, chips at your table. And a happy hour table of cheeses, antipasto, crackers and some kind of procuitto... All included with a drink purchase. Pretty amazing. :
The food is excellent. typically one gets mundane simple italian food and walks away eating fast italian. Here, you can sample real Italian food from traditional and new inspired recipes.
