This little restaurant is awesome, we came for a late breakfast, and after we got there the place filled up with all the local working men, we knew we were in the right place. Service was awesome, and the food was excellent. Portions were good. Do yourself a favor and make the drive out of the city to try this place.
What a cute friendly restaurant. The food is homemade and taste good. The pies are out of this world. If you go there make sure you get a piece of their earthquake cake it's more like a pie it's to die for. Their other food is amazing and it's worth thedrive not that it's that far. There's lots to choose from and the salad is fresh and the food is fresh and tasty try this quaintlittle restaurant.
I've been here several times, and it has always been close to a five-star experience. However, my breakfast last Friday fell short. I ordered the breakfast burrito with all three meats: ham, speck, and sausage. When the woman who runs the place asked how it was, I told her that everything was dry, hard, and overly crispy, as if it had been kept under the warmer for too long, including the mixed hash browns. She insisted that couldn't be the case since they make everything from scratch. I wanted to explain that I didn't see any options for that, and while she offered to prepare a new one, I declined because we were ready to leave and I didn't want to wait. If the food had truly been made from scratch, the hash browns and meat wouldn't have been so dry and crispy. I ended up eating half of it and took the other half home, where I added some bee (may have meant "beef") and hash browns. I apologize that they didn't open the burrito to show the chef, which would have helped. Maybe the staff is still new? In the past, we've never been disappointed, so this was disappointing.
As a first-time visitor, I was truly impressed! The country-fried steak skillet was incredibly tasty, and it was the first time in years that I couldn't finish my whole plate. My wife chose the Cowboy combo with French toast, and both our portions were plentiful. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!
