The margaritas were tiny and overpriced, easily the worst we've ever had. The lime juice was watery, and the guacamole and salsa were just a small amount of guacamole with a few diced tomatoes—definitely not salsa served in a separate dish. The nachos and burritos were decent, but the Baja fish was dry and accompanied by the same tiny amount of guacamole and salsa. Overall, there wasn't much authentic Mexican flavor.... The food here is fantastic, and the iced coffee is the best I’ve ever had. The service is beautiful and friendly. If you're looking for good value for your money, the meals are definitely worth the ferry ride over.
I had a great experience here. It's the only place we could find that serves coffee without having to go to Whitianga. The coffee was delicious!
A café with the perfect atmosphere. The whitebait fritter was cooked to perfection, and the coffee was excellent.
