The Cranbrook Store offers a variety of homemade ice cream flavors, with some visitors finding the prices to be too high for the value. Despite limited seating and proximity to the highway, the gelato is highly recommended for its quality. Customers have praised the helpful and friendly staff, the wide selection of flavors, and the delicious, creamy texture of the ice cream. With dairy-free options and a commitment to local sourcing, this spot in Fernie is definitely worth a visit for high-quality, hand-made ice cream at reasonable prices.
What User likes about Happy Cow Ice Cream and Desserts:
Our neighbor had just baked a Saskatoon pie, so we offered to help eat it. We had to supply the ice cream. Lots of selection and the ice cream was of very good quality. Quite expensive though. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Happy Cow Ice Cream and Desserts:
We found the ice cream that we had at the Cranbrook Store, to be not very flavourful and way over priced for what you get. Let people feel they're getting value for money, otherwise you'll get a lot of one time visitors. We could have almost bought an ice cream maker and made our own for what we spent (a little pint for me alone was $9.00)! Most homemade ice creams have 5 ingredients in them, so not difficult to make... View all feedback.
