I recently visited this restaurant with my grandad after a long time and we had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and we were served quickly. The all day breakfast exceeded our expectations in terms of portion size and value for money. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing my grandad to take his leftover pudding home. Another fantastic visit to Donny's! Food was fantastic as always, staff were friendly and efficient.
Always liked this place today first visit since lockdown and really unhappy walked in it said wait to be seated we waited and we're called by a young lad who was stood at a table by the counter he didn't greet us at the door to ask us to do track n trace or sanitise we sat down he served two other tables who came in after us before we got his attention to place our order he was miserable in general ! We never got asked at all if we had don track n trace In general a very unwelcome place not at all friendly and shabby needed a lick of paint by counter won't be back
Such a friendly atmosphere and the staff have always been very polite. Love seeing a little village tea shop doing so well especially in these uncertain times.
My friend and I visited today for lunch. It was very busy and Sharon the lovely waitress was attentive, polite, friendly and busy as she was alone and doing everything. Our food was lovely and fresh. We would highly recomend Donnys Tearoom and would like to thank Sharon too.
