This is my local pub, and it's such a fantastic spot for a few indulgent drinks. The food portions are incredibly generous. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid-back—definitely not noisy! April 2022. In my opinion, this place is more suited for enjoying beer than dining. They serve Samuel Smith, which comes from the historic Tadcaster brewery. I appreciate their pure, organically brewed beers and the hop bitterness they offer. However, this venue doesn't provide much in terms of entertainment like TV or music.
