Was User at Something Different a mag?
Stop my favorite place for a meal on the drive between Houston and Dallas. This place is the real deal, the quintessential American café/dinner. Food and service are great. They treat you beautifully whether you are a local or just go through. My favourite menus are the catfish and chicken fajita salad. Get some cake to go: it is made with love by the mysterious Cake Lady! View all feedback.

Breakfast was great! Had to have it warmed up as it arrived cool. No butter on toast. Server was nice enough, but very loud. Homemade pies? Crust isn?t? disappointing! When you have one customer, server should check on them once in a while, than payingall the attention to a huge to go order. Good food and fair prices! I will go back next time I?m in the area. This is a wonderful place for lunch. The food and service was awesome. We enjoyed the french dip, chicken salad sandwich, chicken fingers, buffalo fries, and the Buffalo joes sandwich. All of the food was great, but my favorites were the Buffalo Joes sandwich and french dip. I loved the pleasant attitude of the staff. If you are in the area and want good food with friendly service, this is the place.

Passing through looking for a place to grab a bite so we took a chance and ate here. I've got to say the food was great, dessert was delicious. The service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was just right. Would definitely stop here again! Loved this place.
The burgers ROCK! I love a really good burger and they certainly make a great one! Brioche buns, thick-cut real bacon, yummy melted cheese, and a huge beef patty. I was full after half of it, but ate the entire thing! Kid had the Mushroom Swiss Burgerand loved it. I had the Amadillo Burger without onions. It had jalapeno cream cheese! Sooo good and 4 type of fries! Theservice was great and the ladies are so nice! You can watch them make your food, if you want. This place is tiny. I will beeating here as I drive between College Station and Dallas to visit my TX A&M student. I found my new favorite Burger!
