A cozy, no‑frills diner beloved by locals and travelers for hearty, home‑cooked American classics — chicken fried steak/chicken, chicken salad, Ruben, patty melt and Friday fried fish — plus pies, cakes and standout homemade chips. Prices are fair, staff familiar and friendly though service and cleanliness can be inconsistent. The small, charming spot fills up at lunch, offers ample parking and generous portions, making it a worthwhile stop for a casual, comforting meal in town.
This is a wonderful place for lunch. The food and service was awesome. We enjoyed the french dip, chicken salad sandwich, chicken fingers, buffalo fries, and the Buffalo joes sandwich. All of the food was great, but my favorites were the Buffalo Joes sandwich and french dip. I loved the pleasant attitude of the staff. If you are in the area and want good food with friendly service, this is the place.

Passing through looking for a place to grab a bite so we took a chance and ate here. I've got to say the food was great, dessert was delicious. The service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was just right. Would definitely stop here again! Loved this place.
Breakfast was great! Had to have it warmed up as it arrived cool. No butter on toast. Server was nice enough, but very loud. Homemade pies? Crust isn?t? disappointing! When you have one customer, server should check on them once in a while, than payingall the attention to a huge to go order. Good food and fair prices! I will go back next time I?m in the area.
Based on reviews our route today ? we elected to try out this small, low key, casual cafe/diner. Service was good. Food quality was very good (double cheeseburger with extra pickles) my wife had the French-dip. Not fancy. Not super clean but theplace was practically packed with locals enjoying their entrees. Back home we used to say a place like this was ?a greasy spoon? hole in the wall? but great food ? I think that?s appropriate here as well.
