This joint is a rare find. Lovely, chilled atmosphere and possibly the best burgers on the planet and maybe even the entire universe. Many thanks to the staff who made us feel so welcome: Chris (Usain Bolt, Chris you know who we are and also...Arlo. Lush, don't think twice, just go. One more thing! Their attention to my girlfriend's dietary requirements was faultless. Thanks again Chris and Arlo for your impeccable service and care.
Meat in Exeter is a lovely burger restaurant close to Hotel du Vin. Handmade gourmet burgers made for locally sourced meat. Allergy friendly, as was able to get with a vegan bun and v egan cheese! (They also do a vegan burger option) Recommended... Service was excellent, our waitress was attentive and friendly and also gave us some local sightseeing recommendations.
The burger and fries were fantastic, and the local bottled ciders were delicious. I would give it 4 stars because I think the customer should get a bit more value for the cost. Not including chips or a meal package raises the price above other local burger places that offer better value and quality. The kids' burgers looked good, and I can't wait to come back with my children.
The venue is lovely and the staff are very friendly. The food was excellent, especially with a great selection of sides for the burgers. My family thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we would recommend it to others.
