What 522adamh dislikes about S. Luis:
Tourist trap. They seated us but refused to make eye contact for ten minutes. We went around the corner to leitão rural where the locals were eating. It has a limited menu but was excellent. So glad we cut our losses at s. Luis. Ironically it was right next to where we parked our car. Watch out for the broken parking meter across the street. View all feedback.
The best açorda de fraca in the world. Great and most available staff. Large selection of wines, well located, charm.
We were a massive group of about 30 people and we just celebrated a wedding the day before so everyone was a bit excited and loud but the team here took such incredible care of us. The food was excellent, the wine was delicious and the service was something i'll never forget. We had such a great time here and hope to visit again! Thank you for dealing with our craziness!
Food , wine, ambience were AMAZING, would recommend this restaurant to All !!!! From start to finish service was excellent, b ensure to order the cold salad, lettuce and tomatoes are SO FRESH, recommended wine was superb!!!!
Went to this restaurant based on the existing reviews and got really disappointed! First there is no tables inside… The restaurant is just the esplanade!!! Then ordered the “Terra e Mar” dish for 2 people and the portion served was too small for two, way too much liquid on the plate, and the fries and “esparregado” were just bad. On top of that all deserts are 5€. Absolute ripoff considering the normal price of those in any Portuguese restaurant. This place is a trap for tourists!
Definitely recommend the black pork and chocolate mousse for dessert. Make reservations as this is a tiny restaurant. Waiter was friendly.
