They didn’t provide any guarantee or disclaimer to reassure me that my information wouldn’t be misused. All the information on your driver's license is embedded in that barcode, and I don't think it's right that I have to give it up just to buy a beer. If they can't scan your license, they won't sell to you. I've been stopping there for gas and other essentials for ten years, but now I’ll be driving a little farther to shop somewhere that isn’t collecting personal data.
