My husband and I went to the shop for nostalgia sake for him as he used to come there as a child quite often with his family. But this shop is still full of great products. I heard this was the best cherry cake in Door County. The crust was quite good, but I found the filling to be lacking, mostly earthy with only a few cherries mixed in, which was disappointing. There wasn't much rise, and after cutting into it, I noticed a large gap between the top crust and the filling. Overall, it wasn't the best cherry cake I've had. View all feedback.
