Original review: Definitely did not go wrong ordering the link/brisket sandwich YUMMY! $7 chopped beef sandwiches are a deal for quality and size. Great BBQ ever! I’m always having beef brisket bbq which is amazingly delicious!
3 for atmosphere because I've seen too many horror movies. Food was/is awesome. Especially the jalapeño cheddar sausage and brisket
Chopped beef with fair about of fat. BBQ sauce similar to bottled. 2 plates and 2 small iced teas was $35.
I've been stopping here on the way to and from Austin for more than 25 yrs. It's a down-home little roadside bbq joint in Ellinger, TX The food is good and the portions are quite generous. We each had a huge, overstuffed chopped brisket sandwich. I was glad to see they don't have the chopped brisket already sitting in sauce. They sauced the bun and then piled on the brisket, pickles, and onion. All that with chips and a drink for 13.95 each. They also happen to be across the street from my favorite kolache shop, Hruskas!
