Brique - Elgin
Brique
Description
The restaurant offers a nice ambience and quick service, with the standout dishes being the tea leaf salad and onion fritters. While the fish curry was light on curry, it was still worth ordering. On the other hand, some diners felt disappointed with tough meat in dishes like Burmese beef and goat stew, as well as lacking flavor in Moh Hin Ga. Despite mixed reviews, the historic charm and unique food offerings at the place leave many customers satisfied. The dessert options, including the strawberry pavlova, were highly recommended. With a diverse menu and attentive service, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Was Wilton Buckridge at Brique a mag?
I had the black red fish (again) just love it. my brother had the 1/2huh with prickly pear glaze. I tried and will be what I get next time. unfortunately they were from my favorite wine, but found something else that was very good. had not been in vain for dessert, but really wanted the strawberry pavlowa. I had to go by this time, but one day I only dessert him. View all feedback.
What Alejandra Satterfield dislikes about Brique:
For prime rib, the steak had a lot of fat and was excessively salty. The mashed potatoes were OK but the wine was very good. My wife's fillet was very salty as well. I ask him for my prime rib to be cooked medium well and it was cooked medium rare View all feedback.
2nd visit. Great atmosphere, wait staff. The food is absolutely wonderful! Perfectly seasoned with interesting ingredients. Some of the best food I've ever eaten.
An absolutely beautiful building from the floor to the tables to the walls and ceiling, a must see ! Reclaimed wood used from behind the paneled walls you find gorgeous shiplap and exposed bricks, the tables made from wood from the building and the owners are happy to tell you about this beautiful refurbished building with amazing atmosphere and food!
Nice place to enjoy an evening out with someone special. I love the open kitchen and the rustic and warm feeling in the dining area. I was especially impressed with the personal visit from the owners. Hey locals, this is NOT city cafe any more, but a restaurant that is significantly higher in quality and taste. I enjoyed a Shiner on tap and had a delicious entree served with locally sorced ingredients. The banana pudding with caramel was an amazing way to end a wonderful meal.
