Was Ellie Heilbronn at Rice 101 a mag?
"Just a quick update: I highly suggest trying everything on the menu except for the potstickers/dumplings. On our recent visit, we decided to order them and discovered that they are the same ones available at Costco, complete with the same sauce, but significantly overpriced. It's definitely better to focus on the house-made dishes.".
What Laxo Looloo dislikes about Rice 101:
The food is incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious! However, there are moments when the rice bowls could benefit from additional toppings. The food is incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious! However, there are moments when the rice bowls could benefit from additional toppings. While there's a generous amount of rice, the tasty ingredients could be more plentiful. Some dishes are outstanding, but others can fall flat. Unfortunately, tonight was one of those disappointing evenings with too few toppings. I can’t help but suspect that it might be due to differences among the chefs. It’s hard to justify paying $60 for a bowl that mainly consists of rice.
The jeyuk rice bowl with extra pork and fried rice is simply amazing! It has a wonderful spicy kick and is full of flavor. I highly recommend giving it a try!
We ordered the spicy pork and went to a nearby park to enjoy our meal. Throughout the entire time, all we could talk about was how amazingly delicious it was.
Outstanding customer service! This is a wonderful place for a quick bite to eat. The bulgogi rice is amazing, providing excellent value with generous portions. They stay open late, making it a great choice for a late-night snack!
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was taken aback to discover that there was no dining area, so I ended up ordering and eating in my car. The service was prompt, and the food was quite delicious. I had the squid rice bowl, which struck a wonderful balance between spicy and sweet flavors. However, I have to deduct one star for not offering a side of kimchi. What kind of authentic Korean restaurant doesn’t include sides? At a minimum, kimchi should be a standard option!
