Was Anonym at Fargos a mag?
Went for 2 for 1 steak night again. The food is really good. Steaks cooked properly. Service was a tad slow as there was only 2 servers working and numerous team tables taking their time up. The restaurant side was closed so we had to eat in the lounge. Appetizers are a bit expensive. The other way to look at it is the appetizers are small for what you pay for them. View all feedback.

Fargo's is a restaurant and a pub with the two separated by a glass wall. The restaurant side is clean and welcoming but not ostentatious. Service was very good. The menu was simple but adequate to appeal to most tastes. I had fish & chips and found it tasty but a bit on the soggy side. Generally the food was "pub grub" rather than "haute cuisine." I have been going here for years and I have never had a bad meal or crappy service. The eats are traditional but there is something for everyone. I am a simple eater for the most part and I enjoy not needing an interpreter for the menu. It's not fancy so if you need someone to pull out your chair for you go somewhere else. When we don't know where to go-this is where we go. I have introduced friends to Fargos and they are always happy to go back. They have great specials like 2 for 1 steak night and you don't get ripped on the portions because of it. I have to give it 5 stars because I go there do much. I have been a member of trip advisor for a long time and just realized my fave place needs a high 5.
I haven't been in the lounge since the renos were done. It hasn't changed much but it is pleasant. Great beer specials on a Friday and a selection of craft beer to choose from. The menu is typical pub fare. I had one of the burgers and it was really good and fresh. Staff were very pleasant The singer was on early and was quite good and it wasn't too loud like some places.
The restaurant features a bar and a lovely patio area. The food has seen significant improvement. The salads are quite tasty, the quesadillas are enjoyable, and the burgers are excellent. They also offer a selection of beers.
We were quite pleased with both the service and the food considering the price point. The ambiance is decent if you're into sports bars, but it's not really my preference. Additionally, the decor feels quite outdated.
