Wildfire Restaurant has proudly been serving up authentic Scottish dinners in the heart of Edinburgh since 2003. Every day, our kitchen delights in freshly preparing outstanding dishes, complemented by a carefully curated selection of wines and an excellent variety of artisan local beers. Our warm, friendly, and informal atmosphere makes Wildfire a family run bistro where everyone feels at home. I visited wildfire last year in 2018 and it is still outstanding. the place looks new and the entire ambiente is beautiful in the inner. the food and service were excellent. we started with the arbroath smokey, followed by a rib eye and the fish cake. all dishes were perfectly cooked, hot and fresh. we finished with the warm chocolate cake and sticky toffee pudding. everything was excellent and we can't expect us to come back next time in edinburgh.
The first time we tried haggis and we were positively surprized. It was realy delicious. This is a very good restaurant. Each course we eat was delicious. The service was also very friendly. It is a small and cozy restaurant. I warmly recommend the wildfire restaurant for people who love to eat.

The ribeye—grilled to a perfect medium—was tender beyond expectation, its flavor deep, rich, and beautifully balanced. A true masterpiece on a plate. The supporting cast was no less extraordinary: • The prawns — succulent, perfectly seasoned, unforgettable. • The scallops — seared to golden perfection, delicate and divine. • The cheesecake — light, creamy, and sinfully good. We had a wonderful dinner at this lovely restaurant in Edinburgh. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us! The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing evening. We ordered the Mussel King Prawn Plate — it came in a generous portion, with a rich and flavorful sauce that really impressed us. The steak was perfectly cooked with a nice chargrilled aroma, and the side dishes were just as delicious. We were also pleasantly surprised by the red wine — very reasonably priced and of excellent quality. All in all, this place gave us a memorable dining experience in Edinburgh. Highly recommended!
