I visited this restaurant late in the afternoon on a Saturday and was pleased to find it open, quiet, and with plenty of available seating. There was someone clearing and wiping tables, and although the floor was a bit messy with crumbs, I assumed it would be cleaned at the end of the shift. Visited to see the Christmas village and singing reindeer which were great. Stood for ages in the queue for food waiting to be served. Ordered tea and juice which you get when ordered. Then sat for ages waiting for food so tea was cold by the time food came. Child’s fish and chips was awful, fish was rubbery and batter hard, chips greasy so she wouldn’t eat it.
