I have visited Ocean Bowling several times before, but today was a special occasion for a family birthday event. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to bring out a birthday cake with sparkler candles. The family had a fantastic time bowling. What ian k dislikes about Ocean:
We went to the restaurant just before it closed for the night and wished we had arrived after it closed because the meals were very disappointing. We paid £14.95 each and expected better quality. No staff checked in on us during our meal, which was surprising. We have had great meals there before, so it's a bit inconsistent. Hopefully, you have better luck if you decide to eat there. £3.75 for a three-quarters full cup of overly-sweet hot chocolate. Extortionate in my opinion. I won't be returning.
I arranged a corporate party which was held at Ocean in the Ocean suite in early October 2023, from start to finish the whole process went perfectly. Any request I made was never too much issue and I found the events staff friendly and very accommodating to my ever changing plans. On the night of the event everything went smoothly, the food was delicious we had 3 different starters and 3 main courses and I heard nothing but compliments about all of them. Service was fantastic and all the small details were on point. This is the second event I have planned at Ocean and they have always impressed me, I wouldn't hesitate to return. I'd like to give a big shout out to Jimi-Dean and Sandra in the events team, you guys are just wonderful at what you do. Well done team Ocean
I just wanted to send a message to say that when I visited with my two Sons my Daughter on Friday 1st September, we had the best time! We have been coming to exmouth for years but have never been to the softplay before. My son is autistic finds soft plays quite overwhelming I also find it hard to keep track of him! The layout is amazing, I could see him what he was up too! I loved the fact that it had dedicated areas for the small children, my 3 year old loved that. The softplay was lovely clean, everything was taken care of the cafe had lots on offer at good prices. It’s rare to find a softplay that has it all. Thank you to the friendly staff as well that have a judgement free attitude! It makes such a difference! We will definitely be back!
