We booked expecting that the Maids Head might be busy (on a Friday evening) but when we arrived they were actually pretty quiet, maybe because the weather was bad. The menu choice was good, plenty of variety and enough to suit all 4 of us. Starters arrived about 15 minutes after ordering and the main courses I guess 15 minutes after we finished the starters.
