In a recent visit to a local KFC, diners expressed a mixed bag of experiences. While some praised the cleanliness and helpful staff, others lamented the quality of food, citing issues with soggy chicken, cold fries, and unappetizing biscuits. A commendable management team noted efforts to support new employees and maintain a positive atmosphere despite being short-staffed. Many customers voiced a desire for the buffet’s return, as it once showcased perfectly cooked favorites like gizzards and livers. Overall, while there were glimpses of excellent service and fresh offerings, significant improvements are needed to satisfy all patrons.
I took my son and his wife out for Sunday dinner, and I wish I had looked into the restaurant ahead of time. When we arrived, every table was dirty, and we had to clean them ourselves before we could sit down. They were out of diet cola, and the cashier mentioned they were trying to address some food issues. After waiting over an hour, we noticed at least ten other customers were also waiting for their meals. Eventually, a woman brought out two chicken legs and thighs, but the food trays were still empty. It was an awful experience, and my son ended up getting sick, missing work due to vomiting and diarrhea. We will never go back to this restaurant. The $50 we spent on dinner was not worth it. A truly disappointing experience.
The food was not up to par and I wish I could have sent it back. KFC used to be fantastic, but after this experience, I won’t be ordering from you again.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I visited the drive-thru at 6 PM tonight, and although the lights were on, the doors were locked. The person at the drive-thru informed me that they weren't taking any orders. How can a restaurant close at 6 PM any day of the week? Where are all the workers? What has happened? Don't people need to work? Did a spaceship abduct all the restaurant staff? I just can't comprehend how this could happen at a well-known chain. It's so strange! I will never come back here again. This experience was truly disappointing.
I called the restaurant to let them know about the issues. They mentioned that they don't serve chicken that way, but I clearly received what I ordered. They were respectful during the call, explaining that there was little they could do and suggested contacting corporate. I appreciate that they remained calm and polite throughout the conversation. I'm usually not one to complain about food, but when issues arise, it’s unavoidable. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, so I try to approach these situations kindly. I also called corporate, and they were very nice and offered me a refund. I'm unsure if I’ll return to that particular KFC, but I might give it one more chance since it’s closer to me. This was my first time ordering from there in a while, and it’s the first time I’ve had a bad experience. I’m willing to try again and will provide an update after my next visit, as I believe everyone deserves a second chance, and the staff was certainly not rude.
I ordered what I expected, but when I got home and prepared my plate, I realized there were no biscuits included. I had to make some myself.
