As a native Texan and a passionate BBQ enthusiast, I admit I was initially doubtful about a BBQ restaurant in Colorado, even with "Texas" in its name. However, I can confidently say that this is one of the best BBQ experiences I've had! The meats are reasonably priced, and there are plenty of delicious side dishes to choose from. I visited Durango for the first time and decided to stop by during what seemed to be prime dinner time. The brisket was excellent, while the cheesy potatoes were a bit dry and crusty. The coleslaw lacked flavor despite being labeled as spicy on the menu. The mac and cheese was hot and cheesy.
