Purchased my first bag of Alakef beans through devotea.com. This organic Mexico decaf is excellent. For my taste the roast is perfect: the beans have been taken just to the edge of cracking and releasing their oils (important to me as oily beans clog my machine), they are dark but still dry, so the aromas and flavors are rich but not too strong. I was told I need to try this coffee. I had it for the first time and it was pretty good. After that, my coffee always tasted burnt. I thought maybe it was just me, but I have had various people say the same thing. I love that it is local roasters, but I don't think I will buy them again. View all feedback.
