Maria insists that the waitstaff clean the bar and table towels using a washboard, refusing to allow them to use the washing machine. This practice is not only unsanitary but also unfair. She tends to hire undocumented or barely legal workers, creating a challenging environment for those who don’t fit her preferred criteria. Despite the appealing food, this restaurant warrants further investigation.
