Feedback
McGettigans is a lively Irish bar with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. While the food and pints are top-notch, a few downsides were the early closing time, noise levels, and higher menu prices. Despite this, many enjoyed the excellent food, refreshing beers, and efficient service, with some praising the welcoming environment and great steak. Overall, the bar received positive reviews for its service, decor, and food quality, making it a recommended spot for locals and visitors alike.
The title says what I mean. They were far more engaged with each other than the other 9 of us in the restaurant. Very dead for 7pm and staff seemed bored. Nobody unkind just seemed tuned out and chatting with the manager seemed like the most fun for them. That was my one experience there, maybe not that way all of the time. Food was fine, seemed clean.
Nice beer, burger chips. Nice decor and TVs for watching sport in certain sections Staff were very pleasant and provided great service.
Food was absolutely excellent, beer was super refreshing and the staff were really welcoming and efficient.I had a really good time here and would recommend to friends. 5 stars
One two three four I DECLARE A THUMB WAR! Is what I said to the little goblin man hiding in the toilet. Safe to say I defeated him in battle and sent him on his merry way. You’re welcome mcgettigans! He won’t be bothering you any more…. I made sure of that. And if he ever re emerges from his slimy hole … I’ll be waiting. Good food the chips are lovely
