Worked here over twenty years ago. Food is still just as good! Even smelled the same! Enjoyed stopping and eating my favorites. They were very busy but were able to seat quickly. Food came out in a reasonable time. The kids have done a great job keeping up the tradition. Folks would tell me they'd drive over an hour. Good to see it's just as I remember. The chopped beef sandwich was tasty, but not the sort of BBQ I’m used to. It was more like a crockpot simmered sort of smoky beef mix, very lean and no bark. I’d have it again — it was delicious— even though it was not what I was expecting. Now their onion rings… wow! Best I’ve ever had! Their service… at the Sonic-style drive-up was s l o w. 20 minutes from order to car seemed rather long, especially without a touch... View all feedback.
