Was Anonym at Macari's a mag?
I can't recommend the food here enough—you really have to try it yourself. The chips are fresh and cooked to perfection, and the vegetarian kebab is absolutely incredible. The fresh cod is wonderfully crispy and flaky. This is the only place I'll ever get chips from now on. View all feedback.

The food at Macari's is decent, the staff are friendly, and the delivery is quick. However, I can't count how many times we've received the wrong order! Tonight, I placed my order in person, had it repeated back to me both during ordering and at payment, yet it was still wrong when I got home. We've had similar issues before, but since it's so close, we keep coming back. We've even ordered kids' meals without any toy... View all feedback.
Burnt and inedible scampi. The takeaway didn't believe us as we didn't raise the complaint the same day. Anyway, attached pictures of their quality of scampi
The food is great but the last few weeks they hired the driver that use to work In the Indian take away beside them. He rings for directions even though he has been here lots of times. Its a simple address nothing special. On google maps. He gives out if you dont answer your phone. He is rude. You might have to go to the car to get it if he rings you outside. Once he told me to hurry up since he parked in the middle of the road and was blocking traffic. When he worked for the Indian we had to collect it twice from around the corner. It turns me of ordering from this chipper.
The eating is in the regular good, but noticed a gradual decline in pastness, while to average standard, especially the chips. in a snackbox in the week where the bun was nothing more than lukewarm
Amazing quality food, best in Drogheda in my opinion. The chips are so fluffy and not super greasy. I recently had to change go-to chippers due to drop in quality and it is a delight to find Macari's, the beef doesnt take like fish, its friendly on the tummy, and quality is kept in mind. Lighting speed delivery as well! Cant go wrong with a good awl Macari's ;
