I was really hoping to love this place— researched online and was excited to dine here. I ordered the seafood platter— expensive at $50 USD but I was hoping worth it. It came with hot and cold seafood— the cold seafood was fine, the hot seafood (finned fish and shrimp) were all over-cooked; dry. Great food and super service. Plus we sat so we could look beyond the water, really beautiful.
Had a brilliant fish and chip and fish cakes. Beautifully cooked fish, excellent taste. Friendly customer service and cosy bar to the front.
Enjoyed the best seafood chowder ever tasted. Full of chunky seafood and the wee puff pastry fishy on top was a joy.

We ordered steak, seafood chowder, seafood platter, 4.5 Guinness, lemon meringue and 2 Irish coffee for around €150. Fantastic value for money given the cosy venue and food was genuinely delicious. Definitely worth a visit as part of your trip to Donegal Town!
