Feedback
The restaurant received mixed reviews, with some customers praising the incredible food quality and excellent service, especially during Denver restaurant week. Others were disappointed with the efficiency of service, cold temperatures, and overcooked dishes. The menu was found to be a bit confusing, but the staff was accommodating and made adjustments to rectify mistakes. Overall, while some dishes left something to be desired, others were described as a "carnivore's nirvana" and well worth the price. The ambiance received mixed reviews, but the standout service and food quality left a positive impression on many diners.
We visited Attimo Wine Bar's Kitchen on their final night of service at their current location, so the menu options were limited. Despite this, all of the food we tried was excellent. We are excited to dine at their new location and sample their full menu.
The cured salmon was disappointing. Some pieces tasted spoiled and the presentation and taste were unexceptional. The risotto was poorly seasoned and over salted, making it an unsatisfactory dish overall. Overall, both dishes were not well made. A disappointing experience overall - 0 for 2.
Without a doubt, this was one of the best dinners we have experienced in Denver during our 7 years of living here. The food and service were both exceptional. Standout dishes included the tallow candle, the delicious risotto, and the surprisingly special baby gem salad. Both desserts were also fantastic. We savored every bite and cannot wait to bring our friends to Fifth String's new East Denver location.
