Very interesting. A variety of beers on cask pulled with a beer engine. Porter available from either keg or cask. very good! IPA is authentic American pale to varying degrees. Loved the hog wild. I'll be here a minute. View all feedback.
I absolutely adore their ESB on nitro. I don't think I've come across ESB on nitro anywhere else before. It is incredibly smooth and tasty! The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic as well - casual and...
This is my top brewery in Denver! The beer is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere has a great local neighborhood feel. I'm eagerly anticipating the opening of their new patio!
I recently returned to Hogshead Brewery and found that I enjoyed the beer much more this time around. The Gilpin Black Gold porter was especially delicious during my visit.
Such a cozy brewery that has more of a pub atmosphere than the open space Colorado breweries you're used to seeing. Low lighting, but not too dark. All their beers barring 10% abv ones served at a generous 8 oz (they are $5ish anyway at that pour) all beers across the board are the same price. $4 for a 12 oz, $6 for a 16 oz, $7 for a 20oz. Most of their beers are brewed in the classic cellar temperature and cask manner one would experience in the UK. Every beer I had, from Cook Lane (a bitter) to a Belgian table beer, to Dr. B (an oatmeal stout) was wonderful. Service is great, Tony is such a great bartender and friendly person, and pours a good pint. They also have their own parking lot, a miracle around here!
Edit, 1/24/22. If I didn 't come here for the beer, I 'd stop in to listen to the playlist. Where else can you hear The Doves and the Decemberists?! I waited to review this place after I 've been here half a dozen times so I don 't get carried away, but it 's still fantastic. If you appreciate UK cask beers this is the place for you. I 've had the Bitter, ESB and Pale Ale and all are perfect. Great staff and as the millennials would say, 'everything is on point '. Sloan 's lake you don 't know how lucky you are.
