Biergarten is a unique restaurant with a pour-your-own beer concept located in the back of a hotel with no signage, which may be deterring potential customers. The menu caters more towards meat-eaters than vegetarians, but they offer a wide selection of well-known and local beers. Some customers had issues with reservations not being honored, warm beers, and spicy dishes. However, the atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and the food quality is generally good. The restaurant's pour-your-own beer wall is a hit with patrons, and the highlights include a pear salad, fondue, and chocolate dessert. Overall, Biergarten is an appealing spot for a casual meal and drink, but could use some improvements in terms of signage, temperature control, and honoring reservations.
What Tory likes about Biergarten Keg & Kitchen:
We went to this restaurant for a work happy hour and found it to be a great little spot that was somewhat hidden away, which meant it wasn't crowded with people. View all feedback.
What Tara Homenick doesn't like about Biergarten Keg & Kitchen:
As other reviewers have said the food was just so-so and the beer wall only had about half the taps available. When we arrived at 7 we were the only people in there and continued to be for most our meal. We had to go through the hotel to find it and it just seemed kind of tucked away. The beer list was just ok and a lot of the taps were empty. The server was nice and responsive. View all feedback.
I’m not sure why they accepted a reservation for 8 when the Biergarten was closed.
I had a pork chop that cost $28 and it was the toughest I have ever eaten.
They were out of most of their food on the menu and some of their beer but had fun regardless
