Menu
Here you will find the menu of Denmark Bakery in Denmark. At the moment, there are 19 dishes and drinks on the menu.
The bakery in Denmark offers a variety of vegan options such as cakes, pasties, burgers, sandwiches, vegan breakfast, and the vegan pleasure plate. The atmosphere is described as a beautiful hidden gem where customers can sit outside under a large fig tree. Despite some mixed reviews mentioning dry pastries and uninspiring fillings, the bakery remains a popular spot for vegans in the area. The friendly service and consistently good food offerings like pumpkin hummus, mushrooms, and quinoa salad contribute to the overall positive dining experience. Although the bakery also serves meat, it still provides a decent selection for those looking for vegan options in the town.

Was Karianne Kozey at Denmark Bakery a mag?
Great to see two vegan options at the award winning bakery in Denmark. A vegetable pastie, and also a pie. The pastie was lovely, not greasy, light and flaky pastry. Friendly service. Will have to go back and try the pie. Couldn't give it 5 stars as they also serve meat. View all feedback.
What maryvegan dislikes about Denmark Bakery:
I have been coming to Denmark for years, and have loved the vegan options. Sadly they seem to be diminishing. I had the vegan pasty today and it was really dry inside. A paste like blandness, with peas, sweetcorn and a few pieces of pumpkin. Very disappointing. Maybe has changed hands. I asked what was different about the pie and pasty filling, and were told they’re the same. I’m glad I didn’t waste extra money going... View all feedback.
This place is one of my favourite bakeries and serves really great pies! If you are after a quick cheap lunch this is the place to go.
No trip to Denmark is complete without a visit (or multiple visits) to the Denmark Bakery.
In any regional community a few things are integral to the way of life enjoyed by country folk.
I was really hoping this would be better despite the reviews. There was a vegan pie and pastie on the menu. The cafe attached to the bakery also had a porridge with a vegan option. I had the pastie and the pastry was quite good but the filling was bland and tasteless with undercooked chunks of carrot.

Both the pastie and the pie seemed to be full of mash potato with veg rather than a sauce so they were a bit dry and bland this time. Updated from previous review on 2019-03-29
